Accounting Associate

As the Accounting Associate you will be responsible for a variety of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.  This position performs client account analysis and past due reporting, as well as follow-up on past due client balances.  Along with cash application and contract review, you will assist in analyzing vendor accounts.

  • Produce A/R aging reports
  • Produce accurate and professional monthly statements to client
  • Investigate client billing disputes
  • Research, reconcile, and analyze client A/R accounts
  • Reconcile credit card receipts
  • Respond to internal and external A/R and billing inquiries and requests
  • Gather appropriate information to allow for proper client credit checks
  • Daily application of client payments against outstanding invoices
  • Review of client contracts to ensure accurate set up in ERP system
  • Other duties as assigned by Finance management


Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required



  • Minimum of five years’ experience in an A/P and A/R role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to solve practical problems where only limited standardization exists
  • Able to work effectively with clerical people, non-financial staff, operating managers, vendors and clients
  • Able to create and manipulate data in MS Excel using formulas and pivot tables

Technical skills: Adept in creating and manipulating data in MS Excel using formals and pivot table
