Thruline Marketing Inc. is currently seeking an experienced website marketer leader to join our team!


The Managing Director Web Marketing & Development is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for the oversight, optimization, continued expansion/monetization of education-related traffic and lead generation activity from a portfolio of Keypath owned and operated web properties.  You will be responsible for the formulation and execution of web/digital marketing strategy to successfully launch new websites and grow traffic and revenue from existing websites.  This role requires in-depth technical knowledge and a robust, diverse web marketing skillset with demonstrable track record of success, entrepreneurship and thought leadership in the disciplines of SEO, Content Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and Online Lead Generation.   As the Managing Director of Website Marketing you will provide leadership to a team of 15 SEO/Content Marketers, Account Managers and Programming/Dev resources.

  • Set and execute winning web marketing strategy across all Thruline properties, grow traffic and increase revenue
  • Drive day-to-day execution of marketing programs and utilize a full range of tools to improve site KPIs and exponentially grow revenue
  • Drive web content personalization strategy, implementation and ongoing optimization
  • Support and guide client sales and business development efforts
  • Research, build, launch and nurture new lead-generation websites
  • Stay current on all the tools, principles, and practices in user-centered web marketing
  • Manage team responsible for website development process for all company-owned websites, developing a vision and strategy for fully responsive, global online properties to drive conversion
  • Support and guide efforts to land strategic publisher partnerships Act as liaison between team and senior management
  • Other duties, as assigned


Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred

  • 5-7 years’ experience with web marketing, SEO and monetization
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of direct response/interactive marketing, SEO, and content strategy
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem solving skills
  • Passion for technology and design, and the drive to stay on top of industry trends and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to successfully work with all levels of management
  • Supervisory management skills and the ability to oversee delegated tasks and develop and train team
  • Proven ability to effectively develop and implement processes and procedures as needed
  • Ability to develop strong relationships throughout the organization and collaborate with senior leadership team
  • Previous experience building budgets and business plans
