    Job Summary:

    The Market Sales Representative position will function as an extension of the business development team, focused on the growth of the Beauty Schools Marketing Group division for the DFW Market. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, metrics-driven individual with a passion for education and beauty and an understanding of how to develop and maintain strong working relationships.

    The ideal candidate will possess one year of experience in a sales position with demonstrated success in reaching measurable monthly performance goals. Preferred background in the cosmetology field in positions such as a licensed cosmetologist working in a salon, salon owner, admissions representative, product sales representative or curriculum sales associate.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Engaging and qualifying prospects over the phone and via email
    • Driving qualified new sales meetings
    • Cultivating leads from multiple marketing campaigns
    • Contacting conference attendees to arrange on site meetings
    • Effectively articulating the value of our services to prospects
    • Managing the sales pipeline
    • Respond to requests from customers and prospects for information


    Minimum Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree


    • 1 year prior experience in sales preferred
    • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, or through other means to individuals and groups

    Technical skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher.
